External Debug Connector

The RDB1768 is fitted with a standard 10-pin 0.05" pitch JTAG connector to allow the connection of any external debug probe. When an external probe is connected the on-board debug circuit is disabled.

Note that pin 1 of the connector is the bottom right pin in the above picture. This is labelled on the RDB1768V2, but not on the original RDB1768 (version 1). Make sure that you connect the cable from your external probe appropriately (pin 1 on the cable normally being indicated by the red stripe).
